  Saturday, December 6th - 2:00 pm -  Home of the Legends Picking Party and Merle Travis Birthday Celebration.   Come out to Drakesboro, Ky and help us celebrate thumbpicking and continue the traditions of Mose, Merle, Chet & Reed and add the new sounds of Doyle Dykes, Richard Smith and Tommy Emmanuel.  We will have our usual pot luck dinner so bring a covered dish and/or dessert if you want to help out.  Bring your guitar and amp or just drop in to listen.   It will be at the Drakesboro City Hall / Fire Station in the Community Room located at 211 W Mose Rager Blvd, Drakesboro, KY 42337.   Come enjoy a day of guitar with us.  Call Scott at 1-859-223-3576 for info.  Leave a message if I don't answer, I'll get back to you.  Click here for more club info.

Regularly Scheduled Picking Events

KTPC Saturday Meeting and Picking Party Schedule - Our Louisville meetings are on the Second Saturdays of every month starting at NOON. A short business meeting is generally preceded by an informal jam session and is followed by a guest performer or the continuance of the jam session. Members, friends and the general public are invited to attend.  Sometimes the dates may not be 2nd Saturdays due to scheduling conflicts with the facilities.  If you are traveling far, you should call Chris at 1-502-821-6020 or Scott at 1-859-223-3576 before you go to make sure there are no changes in the dates.  Bring your guitar and plan to pick with us

Four Legends Jamboree is held every first Saturday starting at 2:00 PM at the Drakesboro City Hall in Drakesboro, KY. Everyone gets a chance to join in the picking and grinnin’. For more information, contact Scott at 1-859-327-2359 or email kythumbpicker@gmail.com
